DriftCore is a low-profile tunnel designed to sit beneath your substrate. Cover its broad body with sand or gravel and leave the irregular openings exposed to create a tucked-away shelter with a driftwood-inspired form.
It works especially well in freshwater tanks, betta and shrimp setups, planted aquascapes, nano displays, and natural-style builds.

DriftCore uses more horizontal floor space than height. Measure the full proposed footprint before building around it, then check that the remaining foreground and maintenance lanes stay open.
Placement plan
Set the piece on a stable tank floor before adding the surrounding sand or fine gravel. Keep both openings exposed, leave room to inspect each end, and avoid supporting loose rock directly over the tunnel.
Fit check
The published dimensions describe the outside of the complete piece, not the clearance inside every curve. Compare all available photos with your animal’s adult body and fins, and choose extra room whenever the route looks close.
